The software has been designed as universal software for security hybrid platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras.   It has web interface with the equal look and controls on the local and distant computers. Customers see MPEG coded video and have complete control of the software via network that security pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected.   Program`s modular structure considerably improves reliability because all units operate as autonomous applications. If one module stops working, other components continue running. For example if the `record` part fails, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` unit.   The program performs `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face detection, or by calendar.   The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote pc through Web interface.   The software does simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
